the doos

this sketch is more of a blueprint for a painting i want to do.  i had seen these neat little family portraits in a magazine that you could have put on a pillow or something.  that's a lovely thought, except at my house that poor pillow would get spilled on or barfed on or drawn on or destroyed at the hands of a child or cat.  sad day.


so i decided to do my own version of our little family, including the aforementioned cat.  my goal is to put it on a large canvas with a simple color wash on the back, and then do the doos in black ink.  i say i'm going to do a lot of things, artistically speaking, but i never seem to finish them.  maybe this will help.  fingers crossed!
