my daughter has been on a peacock kick recently since she saw this drawing. aww! she's been inspired. it also helps that her uncle works with a woman who raises peacocks (random) and gave her some peacock feathers. she likes to pretend to be a peacock by sticking them into her butt of her pants and strutting her stuff. she's also taken to drawing peacocks quite similar to mine. squeee!
i would love to go back and do this picture again with pen and ink and get more detailed. we shall see...
